Dublin poet and musician Brendan Hickey is set to release his third album of songs and poetry on March 9th 2023. The album, titled “Convergence,” features 14 tracks that showcase Hickey’s unique style of blending music with contemporary poetry.
Hickey, who hails from Dublin, has been a prominent figure in the Irish music scene for over three decades! His previous releases, “Vergions” and “Melting into Oneness,” were received warmly, and helped to cement his reputation as a talented poet and performer.
“Convergence” explores various different themes, with Hickey’s distinctive voice and poetic lyrics taking center stage. The album features collaborations with several well-known Irish musicians. Produced by Colin Scallan, it was postponed from last year due to global events. . This album was sound designed by Brendan and gives a nod to the genres of music that he has enjoyed during his three score and ten years on the planet.
